Angry dumb Woman

Yeah! Another one of my stupid rants.

When I was young, I wanted to be a lot of things, an astronaut, a doctor, an engineer, a painter, and even a gardener, but the most stupid thing was I wanted to be a happy woman.

People go on and on, about how feminists are turning into ‘feminazi’, how women are getting too empowered. But what is this empowering doing for us?

Let me tell you. This empowerment is increasing our mental stress. According to traditional work division, women are supposed to be the homemaker while men are supposed to earn. Now with empowerment women are earning as well but does that mean men are becoming more domestic? The answer is No. Household responsibilities still belong to women. You can say men do help though, but that is where you are wrong. Whenever men are ‘helping’ in the household, it does not help because they are simply doing their portion of work which should ideally belong to them.

In general, women are supposed to the ones sacrificing. And if they don’t the whole world around them reminds them constantly what a horrible human they are for living their lives for themselves. What if I don’t accept sub-par work from my male colleague? What if I ask my man to move for my job? What if I leave my children with a nanny because I want to work? What if I don’t want children at all? What if I don’t wanna fall in love or marry ever? Will society still respect me? Will I be accepted anywhere? And these are basics, I’m not even asking for equality here.
